MULLIGAN SKULLDUGGERY: The Art of Emmett Mulligan

This is a piece I did for a charity auction for Alpha Alternative Elementary School. My friend asked for people to come up with some artwork for it at pretty short notice so I just did a new version of the Moth Beard Dude I did a while back. I've never been crazy about the original so I'd been dying for a reason to re-do it. Because it was short notice (I finished it frantically on the morning of the auction!) I didn't get a chance to scan it or take a proper pic. Not sure how much it sold for because it was a silent auction but the minimum bid was $200 and there was a bidding war for it so it did well apparently!

Just a proper scan of the Zombie Hand/Severed Heart/Roses piece.
Still haven't come up with a proper name for this that I like. Friends have suggested 'A Torn Heart Still Beats', 'Zombie Fast Food' (which just gave me ideas for future pieces) or 'Zombie 5 Finger Discount' (once again gave me deadly ideas for future pieces). I drew it up when the relationship I was in for 5 years recently came crashing to a halt, mostly just to cheer myself up a bit - same reason I did the Hipster Skull. Now I wanna turn it into shirts/prints & I'm pretty sure I'm getting it tattooed too!
First attempt at printing the Zombie Hand/Heart/Roses t-shirt
Zombie Hand/Heart/Roses t-shirt. Still can't decide on a name for this print! Same story as below, I printed up a couple of these just to see how they'd look & to see if they'd survive multiple washes & going through dryers etc. Then I decided to pose my ass off like an asshole to show em off. This is my 'Fall Catalog' staring off into the distance pose... despite the fact that theres a nice trellis not 3 feet from my face blocking any potential view of said distance...
'Will The Last Hipster PLEASE Turn Out The Lights?' t-shirts.
These are just 'prototype' t-shirts I threw together to see what my stuff would look like printed. I gave away a couple of these to friends to wear & tear to see how they'd survive. If they turn out ok I might print up a few more & try selling them.

Asleep on the Forrest Floor Pt1 - This was a bit of a labor of love when I first moved to Toronto. I had just lost my first job & was having difficulty finding another so I grabbed a bunch of 0.05ml liner pens and hammered this guy out. Went cross hatch crazy! I know its not perfect but once again I learned a lot in the process! I'm just in the middle of colouring this guy - pics when I get done!
